Kieron brings extensive experience in both the private sector and Local Government to Planning Studio.

Prior to joining Planning Studio, Kieron most recently worked for a well respected Planning consultancy where he played a key part in the roll out of a major retailer across South Australia.

Kieron was also instrumental in gaining approvals for large greenfield developments in Mount Barker and Gawler as well as significant residential infill developments in inner suburban areas such as Bowden and Norwood.

As an Accredited Planner, Kieron has a wide range of skills and expertise across all areas of development assessment and strategic planning policy.

Kieron’s development assessment skills have been honed through numerous appearances as an expert witness in the Environment Resources and Development Court.

Kieron also brings strong strategic planning skills to Planning Studio gained through the preparation of many Development Plan Amendments (DPAs) for numerous Councils and private developers. Of note, Kieron has prepared strategies and DPAs to manage the future growth of a number of regional towns including Goolwa, Murray Bridge, Port Augusta and Clare. More recently, Kieron was involved in the drafting and ‘road testing’ of sections of the new, statewide, Planning and Design Code.
